Rules & Regulations
- All the pupils should attend their classes punctually with their lessons well prepared. They should come to school neat and tidy in the prescribed uniform. A student who is not in proper uniform is liable to be sent home.
- No pupil can leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.
- Pupils who come late should be admitted to the class only with the permission of the Principal during the school hours.
- Pupils should show respect and reverence to the authorities and staff. They should be gentle and polite in their behavior.
- Teacher while entering the class room the pupil shall raise and say ‘Namaste’ with folded hands. At the end of the period when the teacher leave the class room, the pupil shall raise again and take their seats quietly.
- Any pupil who tempers with the school property or found of any kind of lapse is liable for severs disciplinary action and the damage will be borne by the student.
- Pupils should themselves be responsible for their belonging likes books, note books, fountain pens, Tiffin carriers or any other things which they bring to the school. Girl students are strictly forbidden from attending the school wearing costly ornaments.
- Pupils are expected to keep the class room and the school premises absolutely clean, and neat.
- Pupils whose presence is not conductive to the good name of the school shall be asked to withdraw.
- No pupil shall absent himself/herself from the class without obtaining previous permission. Any leave taken should be followed with a leave letter duly attested by the parents.
- A Medical Certificate will have to be produced to cover absence due to illness for a period exceeding one week.
- Absence for a period of a month without written permission of the principal, shall result in the pupil being removed from the rolls.
- No pupil shall be eligible for promotion unless he/she puts in an attendance of 75% of the total number of working days in the whole year.
- Parents are not allowed to meet the teacher when they are in their class. Those desirous of meeting the teacher about progress of their children, may meet them in the staff room, only after obtaining permission of the Principal.
- The practice of private tuition is generally not encouraged, Special efforts to improve slow learners are taken by the school, out of school hours at no extra cost to the parents. However, parents desirous of arranging private tuition for their children with the teachers of the school shall apply to the principal and get prior permission of the school committee.
- For the sake of maintaining uniformly, all books, note books and school uniform materials are supplied from the school.
General Rules
- All the students are expected to speak only in English in classroom and in campus.
- Valuable ornaments should not be worn in school. The school is not responsible for the loss of the same.
- All the students are expected to be in school before 9.00am. The school begins at 9.15am with assembly and closes at 3.45pm (I to IX & XI) and 5.00pm (X & XII). All the students and teachers are expected to be present for the assembly.
FOOD HABITS
- Only fruits, vegetables, fresh juices, sprout and nuts are allowed for snacks. The school does not provide any eatables.
- Noodles, Junk foods, bottle juices, bakery products and oily items are prohibited.
- Lunch should be accompanies with Vegetables/greens compulsorily.
- Do label your child’s name in all his/her belongings.
- Kindly send right quantity of lunch and snacks for your child.
SUSPENSION
Disciplinary action will be taken against those who come late repeatedly. Students found violating the school rules will be SUSPENDED from school with immediate effect for three days. No excuses will be entertained. This includes
- Carrying Mobile phone, i-pods, cameras or large sums of money. Once confiscated shall not be returned back.
- Any form of misbehavior – including dame to school property.
- Usage of photographs of the school or themselves in school uniform in any capacity without prior permissions from the principal.
- Using foul language.
- Bullying in an form.
- Littering in classes, corridors, campus despite repeated instructions will be treated with severe actions.
- Monetary transaction between children viz, buying/selling accessories during classmates in such activities will be severely dealt with.
- Damaging school property will be severely dealt with.
Guidelines to Parents
The school believes in discipline and firmness. Disobedience and disregard of rules will not be tolerated and will be regarded as the breach of school discipline.
- Parents are requested not to enter the classrooms to visit their wards or teachers during school hours without written permission of the principal.
- For the safety and security of the students, leave for half day should not be asked for. In emergency, written permission must be taken from the principal and the class teacher, coordinator and the transport incharge should be informed accordingly if student availing transport facilities. The student will be allowed to go home only with their parents.
- Students must come in proper and perfect uniform.
- Students must not bring valuable article viz., expensive watches, jewellery to school. In case of any loss of valuable or other articles, the school will try their best to find the article but it shall not take any responsibility for the loss.
- Parents are suggested to avoid criticism of the teacher or the school in front of the children as it causes them to lose respect for teachers.
- Parents are requested to co-operate with the school to help their children’s progress by paying attention and almost care towards their children.
- If any complaint, please meet the principal in person. He/she will look into these matters personally.
- Any change of address should be intimated to the school office.
- WITHOUT GETTING THE PERMISSION FROM THE PRINCIPAL, PARENTS SHALL NOT MEET THEIR CHILDREN DURING SCHOOL WORKING HOURS.
- Payment of fees on or before the due date is compulsory. Failure to remit the fees will result in termination.
- The success of a student is the result of the combined efforts of the teachers and parents and the parent’s regular supervision of the student’s work will help to achieve good results.
- The school encourages a closer teacher parent contact to solve any academic difficulty felt by the student.
- Except the reason of the ill health or other such unavoidable circumstances previous written application from the parents or Guardians is required for any leave of any absence and must always be addressed too the principal. (or) Students are informed not to take any leave. Incase of any ill-health or due to unavoidable circumstances if he/she took leave, parents must meet the principal on the next day.
